An inexplicable moment out of
body throws me above this eclectic gathering of festival
citizens. Calm in my heightened sense of self worth,
I take stock, to ensure that I never forget, to enjoy
the presence of such living beings. No cares, no worries,
no inhibitions.
Without knowing we sculpt our
merry band of wanderers, they are the figures standing
proudly in our perfect painting of a summer. We have
stumbled across the golden section and gaze in amazement
as chaos ensues. Shaven heads, long hair, buck teeth,
vacant stares, gazers, ravers and space invaders. A
collection of characters drawn randomly, a book in every
one of them but the beauty of this could not be written.
Unique entities travel from countrywide,
city skies to countryside, like-minds colliding, blissfully
unaware, they seek out their long lost kin, speakers
of the language of life and love. We dance without thought,
without time, our minds flailing like flags hoisted
high. |
